This is the refund policy for the courses4u.co.uk website, operated by Courses 4U Training LTD.

Due to the organisation's requirement to run our courses, including the allocation of limited places to other customers, we operate the following cancellation and refund policy:

Eligibility for Refunds

To qualify for a refund, both of the following conditions must be met:

  1. You must notify us of your cancellation by email at info@courses4u.co.uk.
  2. Your cancellation request must be received at least 48 hours prior to the course start date.

Non-Attendance

Failure to attend a course without meeting the cancellation requirements above will result in no refund being issued.

Discretionary Vouchers

If you are not eligible for a refund, we may, at our discretion and depending on the circumstances and supporting evidence, offer a one-time 20% voucher toward a future course.

SIA Licence Responsibility

If you have any prior or pending criminal convictions, it is your responsibility to contact the SIA Licensing Department to confirm your eligibility for an SIA licence.
We do not provide refunds if your licence application is refused on this basis after you have completed your training.

Renewals

The SIA will typically contact you approximately 3 months before your licence renewal date. It is your responsibility to ensure that you book any required renewal training in good time.

We are not responsible for, and will not issue refunds or compensation for, any loss of work resulting from the late booking of renewal courses.

Additionally, we have no control over:

  • Whether you pass or fail any course assessments or examinations;
  • The time taken by the awarding body and/or SIA to process your results;
  • The time taken by the SIA to process your licence renewal application.

For these reasons, no refunds will be issued for delays or outcomes associated with exams or licence renewals.
